So I'm photographer near Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis and the general Canadian Rocky Mountains. But occasionally I get the opportunity to head out of town and chase sunsets elsewhere, and this time it was near Drumheller, at Horseshoe Canyon. But something I'll never quit appreciating, but one thing that comes with any of those locations as well as my home base of Calgary, Alberta- is that the plethora of unreal locations and couples is never in shortage.
This couple in specific, Shawna + Brett, are friends of Mckenna + Zach, and travelled all the way from Kerrobert, Saskatchewan in order to take in the sights together, somewhere they'd never ever been. It was a warm night, and we talked about how pineapple does belong on pizza, how horses are terrifying and amazing all at once, and so much more. Because of the panorama (what I've been calling COVID-19 pandemic to cope haha) they decided to still have their engagement session as planned although we had to push their wedding one whole year to this coming December. Though their wedding can't come soon enough and I can't wait to get back to Saskatchewan to see them again, I'll never stop reminiscing over everything that this July night together was.
